“ Family owned restaurant. amazing salad that comes with plums , never seen someone adding that but damn it tastes so good. The gyros hummus platter was really nice and the kebabs were different and tender. worth visiting. ”
“ Golden Falafel in Denver is a hidden gem that truly deserves a spotlight. I tried their falafel wrap, and it was absolutely deliciousperfectly seasoned and wrapped with care, offering both quality and flavor in every bite. What really stood out was the owners welcoming nature. He happily engaged in a delightful conversation, where we exchanged thoughts on various local and international topics. The warm and friendly atmosphere made the experience even more memorable. Whether youre looking for a quick bite or a friendly chat, I wholeheartedly recommend Golden Falafel. Its a place that not only serves great food but also creates a sense of community. Dont miss out! ”
“ The food was amazing, the prices are good, and its the best felafel Ive found! It didnt feel dry like so many do. Ill definitely be back. I ordered the vegetarian plate and a side of saffron rice. I didnt realize the dish already came with rice, lol. Its a great portion, and every element was prepared perfectly! I also ordered a sweet green tea to go ”
“ We had a pretty good meal at Golden Falafel. We started off with a greek salad which was good 710. As an appetizer we tried the falafel, good flavor, a little undercooked but still happy with them 7.510. The entrees came with a side of hummus, which was a little on the bland side, but still a nice sized portion 510. The pita was thin and flat and also left a little to be desired 5.510. For entrees I got the gyro, much better than other places that I have been to. The seasoning and flavor were great, the rice left a lot to be desired 810. My girlfriend had the chicken shawarma plate, which was alright, the meat was a little thin but all in all 6.510. For a dessert we got the baclava, which was very small, but still tasted pretty good 6.510. I do not live close to here and would not say that it was worth the drive. If you live close to here, this is an alright spot for Mediterranean food. ”
“ Were a family who was visiting town for a concert, and the night before went to a popular, highly rated diner that we found very mid. We walked into Golden Falafel after the lunch rush with measured expectations. It was clear that this restaurant was a beloved neighborhood spot because every table had remnants of devoured meals. The very friendly host cleared off a table for my family to sit and look over the menu. Super helpful service and delightfully plated dishes. The falafel was truly one of the best Ive ever had. My wifes grilled lamb had a great flavor to it, but I really loved the gyro plate that I ordered. It was my sons first time trying gyro meat, and he loved it too. The pickled plate was huge, and my son demolished the olives. In fact, all the plates were large portions. I left the meal stuffed and satisfied. If were back in the area, wed definitely come back. ”
“ Wanted to come twice before reviewing as the first time the the food was so unbelievable, I had to see if lightning struck twice. And boy, did they deliver. Whether youre a group of 1 or a group of 10, the service is top notch. The owner is so personable and attentive, we never had to ask for refills. Also, with a party of 9, we were able to have our full lunch in an hour and 15 minutes. Thats VERY fast for meals, sides, salad courses, and more. Please reserve ahead of time, it makes it easy on the staff. The food is amazing, from the best falafel Ive ever had no contest, to the amazing home made Humus, to the beef, lamb, and chicken. The house mushroom dish is also something that should not be missed. I will be coming back again and again. Everyone I brought here has said that its the best theyve had in Denver, and many saying its the best theyve ever had. ”
“ Food had good flavors, really good food. I got the lamb shank and fattoush salad really enjoyed it. I understand they make everything from scratch, including the delicious hummus, which I appreciate. ”
“ First off, I love how they actually space out your food. They give you appetizers of pita bread and hummus and then a salad a few minutes later. Tbh, the salad dressing was not to my liking. It was mayo mixed in with some spices to get different colors. I couldnt finish it at all. The gyro plate was sooooo good!! The atmosphere was very clean, and the service was on point. Would definitely eat here again. ”
